A Centralised Handshake Server communicates with two devices, to establish a DirectTalk between them. It is safe and secure. For more information, scroll to the bottom.

ServerLess provides a secure, private, and efficient way to communicate and transfer files by removing intermediary servers using our innovative DirectTalk technology. The process begins when one system sends a “Location Request” to another system using a unique ID. This request includes the sender’s location. If the recipient accepts, they respond by sharing their own location. Both systems then exchange a few addresses through a centralized Handshake Server, which acts as a temporary intermediary for initial communication.
Once the required information is exchanged, the two systems establish a direct connection, making the Handshake Server unnecessary for further communication. All subsequent communication happens directly between the two systems without involving any central server. With SSL encryption securing every interaction, communication remains private and protected. No messages or files are stored on any server, making the platform completely serverless.
A key advantage of ServerLess is its strong emphasis on privacy. Traditional messaging platforms route communications through centralized servers, which may access unencrypted data unless end-to-end encryption is applied. By enabling direct connections through DirectTalk technology, ServerLess eliminates this risk entirely. Only the sender and recipient have access to unencrypted data, ensuring complete privacy.
ServerLess also excels at handling large file transfers. Unlike conventional services that require lengthy uploads to third-party servers, ServerLess allows users to share large files — even up to 50 GB or more — directly between devices. This makes the process faster and more efficient, provided both users have high-speed internet connections.
Our platform is ideal for secure, real-time communication and large file transfers between two users. While it may not be suitable for group messaging or broadcasting files to multiple recipients, it offers unmatched privacy and efficiency for one-to-one interactions. By removing intermediary servers and leveraging DirectTalk technology, ServerLess delivers a solution that prioritizes user privacy, data security, and seamless file sharing.
